With Austin Horse Properties, Bettina Babbitt combines 30 years of life in Austin and surrounding rural areas, 20 years of real estate knowledge and her life long love of horses to bring together equestrian property buyers and sellers.

Calling Austin home for over 30 years and working as a full-time real estate agent for 20 years, Bettina knows her way around town and around a real estate deal. A smart, detail-oriented agent with "integrity in spades." Bettina brings sharp listening and negotiating skills to all of her transactions. She prides herself on offering outstanding customer service and expert advice. 
 
She's helped countless clients, including first-time home buyers, real estate investors, and land owners achieve their real estate dreams. She’s a great advocate for her clients and represents their highest and best interests every step of the way.
 
Growing up on the family farm in Iowa, Bettina's strong mid-western work ethic is evident in everything she does. In addition to being a working student at a horse farm through college, she also earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Iowa, and as an English major, participated in the Iowa Writer’s Workshop.
 
Bettina earned her Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) designation in 2010. Pursuing her interest in sustainable building practices she was one of the first real estate agents in Austin to earn NAR’s Sustainable Property (GREEN) designation. Bettina has also earned the prestigious Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation (CLHMS) and is also a real estate broker.
 
Bettina is a lifelong animal lover and lives in the country with 2 dogs; Butters, and Francis. In her spare time, if not previewing or showing properties, she can be found working with her Haflinger horse Tessa. 
 
Bettina loves Austin and its beautiful surrounding rural areas, and homes. Bettina is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, The Texas Association of REALTORS®, and The Austin Board of REALTORS®.
